A LEATHER JACKET DRESSED UP

by

I know it’s been a minute since my last blog post and in case your wondering what your boy has been doing all this time, I got you. I’m beyond excited to announce that I just started a YouTube channel. Consider this a side dish to the main serving.

I believe that some contents of fashion are better expressed in other ways further than through text and pictures. As a fulfillment of this belief I’ve  decided to create a YouTube channel that could complement  some of my fashion content (see, I wasn’t kidding when I told you I got you)

Enough about the channel, back to the hide I’m wearing. For a long time now, whenever I saw leather jackets the only thought that came to my mind, was the Nduthi(motorcycle)guys at my home stage. Little did I see myself owning such a piece at some point.

Among the list of some of the timeless fashion pieces, a leather jacket is certainly one of them. Its versatility and ability to maneuver through trends and situations is unmatched. For instance, this piece is in a position to be used from dry to rainy weather conditions or even better you can wear it for an evening date with that special someone just after a long day at the office. (thank me later * wink)

I decided to dress this jacket up by wearing a purple striped shirt, a black tie, a pair of suspenders, a black pair of trouser, no show socks and a black sneaker. Not only does the combination stand by itself as a semi casual outfit but also doubles up as an official outfit. You could also switch up the sneakers for a pair of black monks or even boots depending on your personal style or occasion.

As I said earlier there are variety of ways you could style your leather jacket.to see them stay tuned to my channel for a lookbok on how to style leather jackets that will be up in the course of the week. Let me know what you think about this style below.

Ciao!
